National Day is a legal holiday established by a country to commemorate the country itself. They are usually the independence of the country, the signing of the constitution, the birthday of the head of state, or other significant anniversaries. Different countries will have different celebrations.
In ancient China, Lu Ji, a writer in the Western Jin Dynasty, mentioned the term "National Day". In the feudal era, the emperor's accession to the throne and the birthday can be said to be a national festival event. As a result, the ancient times of our country the emperor ascended the throne or the birthday is called "National Day".
On September 21, 1949, China's leaders had already announced the birth of new China in their opening speech. On October 1, 1949, a grand celebration was held in Tian 'anmen Square. On October 2, 1949, the government stipulated that October 1 of each year was the National Day, and this day was used as the day to declare the founding of China.
Since then, October 1 has become a grand festival celebrated by the people of all ethnic groups in China.

1949年9月21日,中国的领导者就已经在会议的开幕词中宣告了新中国的诞生。1949年10月1日,在天安门广场举行了盛大的庆典。1949年10月2日,政府规定每年10月1日为国庆日,并以这一天作为宣告中国成立的日子。
从此以后,每年的10月1日就成为中国各族人民隆重欢庆的节日了。
