1. 使用英语「陈述句」时，表达will的过去式
例：
A：I will go to the party. (A说我会去舞会)
B：He said that he would go to the party.(B用陈述句表达：他说他会去舞会)
2.表达「想要」
will跟would一个是现在式，一个是过去式，都可以用来表达「想要」的意思。
例1：I won’t let my daughter go to the party. 我不让我女儿去舞会。
例2：I wouldn’t let my daughter go to the party. 我不会让我女儿去舞会(表达过去某个时候，不想让女儿去舞会)。
3.表达「过去习惯」做某件事。
would还有一个用法，跟「used to 」的用法一样，用来表达过去习惯去做某件事。
例：When I was in Taiwan, I would go to the gym two times a week. 当我还在台湾时，每个礼拜去两次健身房。
这里的句子，用used to 替换也是一样的意思，「used to 」用来表达过去习惯做某件事。
例：I used to go to the gym two times a week When I was in Taiwan. 我以前在台湾每周去两次健身房。
