on和in在树上的区别：指树本身之物，比如果实和花朵等，用on the tree。指树外之物，比如在树上停留的鸟、小虫子和猴子等，用in the tree。
in the tree表示外部的东西落在树上，例如风筝落在了树上啊，或者树上的一只鸟等，应该用介词in。
eg.The birds are singing in the tree.
on the tree表示树上本身自有的东西。例如树叶、果实长在树上等，应该用介词on.
eg.There are a lot of apples on the tree when autum comes
不少人都觉得从树里长出来的东西应该用in，其实恰恰相反，“长”在树上的东西需要用介词on，而不属于树的一部分但是停在树上的要用in，看下面两个例句：
There are two apples on the tree.
树上结了两个苹果。
There are two sparrows in the tree.
树上有两只麻雀。
此外，in和on在表示地点和时间上也各有不同。
表示地点时：
in表示“处在某物之中”；on表示“处在某物（的表面）上”。
表示时间时：
在月份、年份或某一个时间段前，一般用介词in；
如果涉及具体的日期，就用on来表示。
